In the heart of the Warwickshire countryside, Whitefields Golf Course and Driving Range is as majestic as it is demanding. Whitefields Golf Club and Golf Course in partnership with Draycote Hotel was opened in 1992 and has hosted many championships over the years. Due to the excellent drainage system, the course is in perfect playing condition all year round for golfers of all handicaps. You can try your hand at a few practice shots before starting your round at the short game area or the driving range. After your round, you can enjoy a few cold beverages at the club’s bar or venture into the hotel for some food.
What style is the course at Whitefields Golf Course and Club?
The course is 6,289 yards with a par of 71. It can be played as a championship 18-hole course or a simple 9-hole course, and it's great fun for golfers of all levels.
What is the feature hole?
There's no room for error at the 16th hole, Curlie's Corner. The course's shortest par three, but by far from the easiest! This is the signature hole at Whitefields, with the tee shot from an elevated tee on island green, 184 yards and surrounded by water. This hole can easily ruin any good card.
What sort of course features can the player expect?
The players are enthused from the start, with the first hole being a generous opening one with a good drive, leaving only a short iron to the green. Two bunkers on the greenside await for any wayward approaches. There are 17 more holes to master after that. The surrounding, peaceful Draycote Waters are one of Whitefields' most distinctive features. The reservoir, which borders the 12th, 13th, and 14th holes, provides a gorgeous backdrop all year.
