Tilgate Forest is a hidden beauty. With a par 72 18 hole Championship course, nine hole lay-out and 35 bay floodlit driving range, it has everything you could want. Noted for tree-lined fairways, tough doglegs and well-guarded greens, it's said the challenge at Tilgate begins at the 433-yard par four left hand dog leg fourth which needs a long drive to the marker post leaves a 200 yard plus approach to a two-tier green, but beware the 513 yard par five 17th which has a narrow target off the tee. The course has unparalleled views as it is set within some 400 acres which was once part of the Tilgate Estate.
