This rural retreat is situated in the heart of the countryside of East Sussex near the tiny village of Cripps Corner, in the picturesque High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Their aim is to ensure your stay at this luxury glamping site in East Sussex is unforgettable, whether you are visiting for a romantic break away with your partner, to spend quality time away with the children, to arrange a group family gathering, to celebrate a special occasion, to propose or simply just to have an excuse for having some ‘you’ time. As the name implies, the property is surrounded by woodland and is perfectly located just 10-25 minutes from the tourist orientated towns of Battle, Robertsbridge, Rye, Bodiam, Tenterden, Goudhurst and Tunbridge Wells, and only 15 minutes from the seaside resorts of Hastings and Camber sands. The area is steeped in history and boasts an array of historic castles, houses, gardens and places of interest. The Medieval village of Robertsbridge itself is just a short eight-minute drive away.

What makes a stay at Woodside Glamping & Spa unique?

Sit back, listen and watch the plethora of wildlife, which include rabbits, badgers, owls, deer, foxes, pheasants, geese, butterflies, birds. Use the guests’ lounge, which has a nine-foot home cinema TV with Sky and a selection of games and books. Enjoy a glass of wine, beer, spirits or a cocktail in the LED-lit atmospheric bar which serves a full range of drinks, designer coffees, mocktails, shakes, smoothies and ice creams and take in a game of pool (over 21s).

What is there to see and do at Woodside Glamping & Spa?

Why slum it with no hot water and no proper sanitary facilities? At Woodside, you have access to these vital facilities within 20metres of your yurt or Bell Tent, with five toilets and four showers available for all glampers. In the coffee cabin they provide washing up facilities for those who are self-catering. They also have a tea urn alongside the microwave, toaster and ice machine all for your use as well as plenty of fridge space for each accommodation. You can enjoy a host of complimentary beverages and other goodies. A laundry service is available at £5 a load for when your children dirty all their clothes! The health suite, located in the house, includes a hot tub, infrared sauna, body jet shower and a loo. This can all be available to you at a small supplement of £10 for a private 1hour session. They have a residential beauty therapist offering manicures, pedicures, make-up, facials, waxing and a full range of massages such as Swedish, Aromatherapy, Indian Head, Hot stones and an array of spa treatments and therapies. These are also open to non-residents. It can be arranged for holistic therapies including homoeopathy, reflexology, reiki, Soul Plan.

Experience the romance and tranquillity of sleeping under a transparent dome or canvas through stylish and fashionable glamping. All accommodations have their very own gas camping stoves and charcoal BBQs for personal outside cooking, alongside their own fire barrels (with a bag of free logs) to make the trip even more traditional.

Room Details: There are five Yurts and five Bell Tents to choose from.Moroccan Yurt is a bespoke joinery-made, truly beautiful and fully insulated yurt containing a 7-foot round bed, plus a double futon, so that you can camp in style and look up out of the glazed dome at the stars. This yurt can sleep between two and four people, and is £260.00 for the weekend, based on occupancy of 2 people. Additional people are £30.00 per person per night.Giant Yurts - The other two Yurts offered are called the Mammoth Mongolian and the Purple Persian. The Purple Persian Yurt can accommodate up to 8 people and measure 21 feet in diameter and stand 9 feet high. The Mammoth Mongolian Yurt can accommodate up to 10 people and measures 26 feet in diameter and stands 11 feet high. The Purple Persian Yurt is £495 for the weekend, based on occupancy of 6. The Mammoth Mongolian Yurt is £660.00 for the weekend, based on occupancy of 8. Additional people are £30.00 per person per night. The Purple Persian Yurt has one double bed, two double sofa beds and two single futons, and the Mammoth Mongolian Yurt has one double, two double sofa beds and four single futons.Animal Yurts can accommodate up to five people. These Yurts are £260.00 each for the weekend, based on occupancy of 2. Additional people are £30.00 per person per night. These Yurts have one double bed, and three single futons.Bell Tents are flower/woodland themed in Rose, Bluebell, Lilac, Forest and Sunflower, they can accommodate up to four people.
