What makes a stay at The Woodsman's Treehouse unique?
The Woodsman's Treehouse is all about being amongst the trees, experiencing and admiring them, while doing nothing to damage them. It is bursting with wood craftsmanship, along with a variety of other materials that have been either found or created in the woods. The Treehouse has been constructed on long stilts between the branches of three oak trees. It is a substantial structure that was built so that the trees are not affected in any way. The trees are not stressed by imposing heavy loads or fixing bolts to them, which allows the rainwater to flow down through the stems and wildlife, which preserves the oak tree's sensitive ecosystem.
What is there to see and do at The Woodsman's Treehouse?
The Treehouse is totally self-contained, including the kitchen and all of the outdoor pleasures. There is a wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ on the outside deck, as well as one of the now-famous outdoor showers, fitted with endless hot water. A spiral staircase leads from this level up to the completely private roof/spa deck with a hot tub and sauna. It is a rather unique experience to lay back and relax between the branches, gazing at the sunset through the woods. The kitchen of the Treehouse is completely self-contained, as are all outdoor pleasures. There is a small honesty shop onsite with many varieties of local cider, and locally-made charcoal for your barbecue as well as the pizza dough. It really is a luxury getaway all year round.
