The Hudnalls Hideout

Glamping

A luxury treehouse in the spectacular Wye Valley, an escape only for adults – within an area of outstanding natural beauty. A romantic place for couples, located within 2 acres of private wood, which borders The Hudnalls ancient woodland. You can use the woodland area exclusively, with access to a picnic area in a wildflower meadow. The treehouse is completely secluded and you won't bump into any other guests. Set within a cedar tree trunk, climb the staircase into your handmade loft bed with an incredible A-frame, floor to ceiling viewing window that overlooks the treetops that surround you. The large side window is suitable for a spot of late-night star gazing too. Stroll outside onto the huge wrap-around deck and enjoy a soak in some bubbles in the stunning copper roll top bath made for two.

What makes a stay at The Hudnalls Hideout unique?

The treehouse has been carefully designed to encourage you to totally switch of from the outside world, taking away all of the modern distractions like tech devices and televisions. You will be surrounded by nature throughout your stay. The trees are within touching distance and the woods are home to native fallow deer, badgers, squirrels, foxes and many wild birds including tawny owls and woodpeckers.

What is there to see and do at The Hudnalls Hideout?

You can opt to shut out the outside world for a few days with everything you need for pure relaxation in your private treehouse. Cosy up in the treehouse and read a book, soak in the outdoor bath tub, or simply just be. Private massages and reflexology treatments can be arranged in the treehouse for pure indulgence. If you want to be a little more active, take a stroll through the nearby woods to the local village pub or head to Float in the Forest for a unique flotation therapy experience. The Wye Valley (AONB) and the Forest of Dean is a truly hidden gem. It gives thrill-seekers the chance to fulfill the urge of an adrenalin rush from the ancient forests to the wild flowing rivers, through to peaceful tranquillity that will naturally nurture your well-being. Partake in a spot of local wildlife spotting with the help of a handy track camera supplied in the treehouse for your use - pick a spot to set it up and see what 'captures' you get during the night! The wildlife of the woods ranges from fallow deer, badgers, squirrels, and foxes to woodpeckers, starling, song thrush, hawfinch, wood warblers, nuthatches and treecreepers.

Secluded but easily accessible – a 2.5 hour drive on the M4 from London and the South East, and less than 1 hour from Bristol and under 2 hours from Birmingham.

The treehouse is totally secluded so it takes a little more effort to get here but your effort will be rewarded. On arrival, there is a short walk with your wheelbarrow across the wildflower meadow and down a woodland track where your treehouse hideout is hidden away.
