Sunridge Geodome is a luxury self-catering 10 metre Geodesic glamping dome in the picturesque South Hams region of Devon, stunningly positioned on a fishing lakeside in the heart of the Yealm Valley. With stargazers ceiling windows for astronomical delight, where you can marvel at the stars as the night descends. Outside there is a secluded decking area, complete with a private hot tub with adjustable mood lighting and jets.

What is there to see and do at Sunridge GeoDome?

The GeoDome boasts its own snuggery, a popular gathering point after a busy day exploring, fit with an HD 3D cinema and a giant 4-metre screen with surround sound, it is the perfect place to watch your favourite movies. The GeoDome, surrounded by woodland is also home to a private fishing lake, where you can have a private fishing lesson with one of the friendly local lake fishermen. For those wanting to venture further afield, you can find the coast of Salcombe close by, as well as the Dartmoor National Park.

Enormous 10 metre GeoDome (75sqm) complete with open plan living space, double comfy bed with en-suite bathroom module & sofa chair beds for a further 2 people in the den on the mezzanine. 

Modern German kitchen with ceramic hob, intergrated microwave, dishwasher, fridge, electric oven & wine cooler.

Contemporary dining and living space with air-con & gas fired central heating.

Stargazers ceiling window for astronomical delights in the unspoilt light.

Huge panoramic bay window and picturesqe valley views.

Exterior deck overlooking the beautiful yealm valley complete with Webber barbi for alfresco dining. Gas provided. Please bring barbi tools with you. 

Bed linen & bathroom towels included for 2 people in the double bedroom. The additonal 1 or 2 guests (max) must bring bedding and towels for the 2 sofa chair beds on the mezzanine.

4 metre cinema screen with 4K Ultra HD 3D projector, XBOX ONE, PS4 & selection of movies & games. Please bring your own library too!

Smart HD TVs with freeview & bluetooth speakers in bedrooms and the living space.


4 seated exterior HOT TUB with mood lighting. Please bring old towels for hot tub use to avoid discolouring. Towels only supplied for the bathroom.

Arrival information and directions

From London: take the M4, then M5 to Exeter. Continue onto the A38 leaving at the junction to Ugborough & Ermington. Follow signs for the A379 to Yealmpton. One mile before Yealmpton turn right at Dunstone Cross and travel 1 mile to Sunridge Retreats.

From the North: take the M5 to Bristol and continue on the M5 until the A38 in Devon. Then follow directions as above. From the South West: drive to Plymouth, take the A379 to Kingsbridge and head towards Elburton/Brixton/Yealmpton. 1 mile after Yealmpton turn left at Dunstone cross and travel 1 mile to Sunridge Retreats.
