Woodland Gardens in or near Ribchester

The village of Ribchester lies in the beautiful Ribble Valley in Lancashire on the banks of the River Ribble and dates back to Roman times. It now has a Roman Museum with various interesting exhibits. In June the village has an annual gala day and also a Festival of Music and Art which attracts many visitors.
