Painswick

The town of Painswick is often referred to as the Queen of the Cotswolds due to the many fine buildings built of grey limestone. The local St Mary's Church was mainly built in the 15th century and is renowned for its 99 yew trees planted in the churchyard. Visit the Rococo Gardens located on the outskirts of the town, the last remaining garden of its style found in a hidden 6 acre valley.
