Water Gardens in or near Matlock Bath

Matlock Bath in Derbyshire lies south of Matlock on the River Derwent. The town is in a gorge parts of which are floodlit at night. A cable car runs from the valley to the Heights of Abraham which is a tourist attraction with stunning views over the Peak District. It also has show caverns with guided tours underground, cafes, coffee shop and a bar as well as several shops and a giant childrens slide and various exhibitions.
