The small town of Malpas is situated in south west Cheshire and has an abundance of historic and half-timbered buildings, notable ones include the 17th century Tithe Barn, the 18th century brick built house The Boiling and the 17th century house called Church View. The Parish church of St Oswald overlooks the town with its churchyard housing part of a bailey of a timber Norman Castle.
