The town of Invergordon lies adjacent to the Cromarty Firth just 25 miles from Inverness and Loch Ness. Originally a ferry terminus, developinging into a thriving town during the 1700 & 1800s and continuing to do so throughout the following centuries. An ideal place to be based for exploring the surrounding countryside.
