The small town of Ingatestone lies in an area of green belt land close around 20 miles from London. A good road and rail infrastructure to the main hubs. Dating back to the Saxon times and mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086. The local Anglican church dates from the 11th century although was modified in the 17th century.
