Water Gardens in or near Fittleworth

Fittleworth is a village in West Sussex on the River Rother near to Pulborough. The Swan Inn is a 14th century coaching inn with several artists paintings on the panelling in the bar. The composer Edward Elgar at one time lived nearby in a thatched cottage. There are two bridges in the village ,one over the mill stream and the other which dates from the 16th century spans the River Rother.
