The small town of Burry Port is on the South Wales coast and is famous for the harbour where Amelia Earhart landed as the first woman to fly the atlantic. The harbour today is a marina for a variety of small boats. The Millennium Coastal Path passes through the area, which is a 22km walkway and cycle path from Llanelli to Pembrey Country Park.
