This 3.5 acre walled garden dates back to around 1700 but was probably extended around in the 1760s. It's huge walls, one heated on the north side, are in good condition. The walled garden has a dividing wall down the middle that separates the vast kitchen garden with a smaller ornamental pleasure garden.
