Hill Close Gardens Trust

Bread & Meat Close, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV34 6HF

Hill Close Gardens are rare survivals of Victorian detached gardens once used by townsfolk who lived above their business and wanted to escape from the crowded town centre. Owners and tenants came here after work or on Sundays to tend to their flowers, fruit and vegetables or to relax.

Explore and rest in the restored brick built summerhouses.

Hill Close boasts a 'low carbon' visitor centre and function suite which can be hired out for meetings or events.

Visit the hidden hedged gardens and find out how local people saved Hill Close Gardens from destruction.
Wander along the old paths and enjoy tranquillity within the 16 individual plots.

Relax during the summer weekends in our tearoom serving refreshments to include cake and scones.
