The magnificent great Holker Lime, its girth measuring over seven metres at its widest, is one of Britain's 50 greatest trees. The gardens contain truly unique features, such as the cascade, labyrinth and the slate sundial, fashioned to an ancient design, and the National Collection of Styracaceae.
