Overview

Explore the stunning grounds of Brodie Castle A visit to the stunning grounds of Brodie Castle is a must for any garden lover. In the spring, the grounds are carpeted with a rare and popular array of daffodils, many of which were planted at the turn of the 19th century. The National Trust for Scotland is working to classify, disseminate and distribute them more widely. Explore the protected forest walks with ample rhododendrons and stroll along the pond where you can observe the varied wildlife of the estate from the specially built hides.

What can guests enjoy at Brodie Castle?

Acres of the gentle Moray countryside surrounds the rose-colored Brodie Castle, the ancestral home of the Brodie clan for more than 400 years, while its family seat has been here since the 12th century.

See how the changing circumstances changed the form and function of the castle. The impenetrable 16th-century guard chamber is accompanied on one side by a spacious 17th-century wing and on the other by a widening Victorian extension.
