Overview

Explore the beautiful Uppark House and Gardens The tale behind Uppark House and Garden near Petersfield in the South Downs is a dramatic one, its having gone down in flames a couple of decades ago thanks to a spark from a workman's tool. The National Trust has surpassed itself in restoring the house and gardens and the result is a classic stately home in surely one of the most beautiful spots in England. Capability Brown and Humphrey Repton inspired the glorious grounds here which have spectacular views cross the South Downs National Park and working meadow. Summer borders are set to create a dazzling display come August and provide the perfect opportunity to take a leisurely stroll down Maple Drive and through the woodland.
