Overview

Leeds Castle is set in 500 acres of Kentish parkland and formal gardens, making it a sanctuary for wildlife and waterfowl. The Wood Garden is continually developed to build colour throughout the seasons, and the moat is inhabited by the Castle's famous and beautiful black swans. The Pavilion Garden, which used to contain two tennis courts, is planted with rhododendrons and azaleas. Transformed in 1980 by Russell Page, the Culpeper Garden has traditional box-edged beds filled with roses and colourful perennials, a quintessential English country cottage garden. The Lady Baillie Garden is rich with Mediterranean and sub-tropical plants, providing flowers throughout the year. Use your annual ticket to come and visit the gardens throughout the year in the changing seasons.
