Stillingfleet Lodge's annual wildlife day will be on the 30th June 2024, part of National Insect Week. Local wildlife charities join us to make this a day packed  with activities and information about the wildlife across Yorkshire. Activities include pond-dipping, bird-ringing and owl- pellet dissection plus a chance to meet bats and reptiles - there is always something for the whole family.

A vintage lifestyle weekend dedicated to race cars, bikes and hot rods from a bygone era. Enjoy Championship racing with the headlining Cannonball class for supercharged nitro and alcohol fuelled Altereds and Funny Cars, period correct Gasser Circus, invited historic bikes and lots more. See vehicles from Santa Pod’s illustrious history return to the strip. Plus live music*, Jet Car, Show & Shine with the NSRA, Cracklefest, beer festival and much more. This is a more advance vegetable gardening course, led by orgainic expert, Tony Chalcraft. It is perfect tfor those wanting to improve and extend their crops. On this session you will learn about the main vegetable crops plus a few unusual ones, focussing on how to maximise the harvest and avoid problems.

The course is especially suitable for those who’ve grown vegetables for some years and have a grasp of the basics but want to get to grow more and better crops.

Enjoy a afternoon tea with a quintessentially English theme including a selection of sweet treats crafted by our pastry chefs in celebration of the all England lawn tennis tournament.

The Gidleigh Park Estate Team takes immense pride in their Kitchen Garden, while Executive Chef, Chris Eden, champions the use of all its produce.

Your day commences at 10.00am with a welcome coffee before embarking on a guided tour of the Kitchen Garden. Following this, savour a glass of wine and indulge in a delightful vegetarian three-course lunch crafted from the garden's fresh vegetables and herbs.
