Overview

This is a beautiful Self-Catering property which dates back to the 12th Century. The Castle has been in the Leslie family for 800 years. The castle is very much a traditional Scottish home but has been refurbished to provide modern comforts in the kitchen and bathrooms. A new heating system has been installed which enables pressurised hot water to all bathrooms at all times of the day and night. The central heating is also on 24 hours a day 7 days a week making it very cosy indeed. The kitchen has a traditional double Aga, as well as secondary electric double oven. There are open fires in the drawing room and the library/snug. Outside there is a large terrace with a gas fired BBQ, with gardens surrounding the property. The estate is some 700 acres with many walking routes and plenty of wildlife to spot along the way. There are with bedrooms, which have mostly been recently redecorated and bathrooms that have been upgraded within the past year. It is an ideal place for a family get together, holiday or special occasion.

We booked Wardhill Castle for 3 nights for the weekend of our wedding, there was nothing that came close to how beautiful the house is within the area. From start to finish the whole process was easy and so special. I can't explain just how stunning the house is, we were all taken a back at how each room is different, cosy and has the most comfiest beds. I can't recommend the castle enough, everyone should experiencing staying somewhere like this, it's a real treat! A weekend I will never forget

For glamping there is a turning on the left just before the castle.
