What makes a stay at The Old Farmhouse unique?
This is the oldest part of the Manor House Barns and was built in the 18th century. A log burning stove sits within the original fireplace of what was the original farm house.
The first floor offers a beautiful variety of views from each bedroom. In particular, the double room has wonderful views of Magpie mine, and you may also be lucky enough to see some of our wonderful sunsets, which can be particularly stunning in the winter months as the red glow shines through the silhouette of trees in our woodland.

The open-plan ground floor is flooded with light from the large glazed opening which leads to your private patio area. A well-equipped kitchen, including a dish-washer, is designed to make your stay as easy as possible.

Chatsworth House is the must see country house of the north, and just 10 minutes away. There are excellent walking and cycling trails close by, and the local market towns of Bakewell and Buxton have loads to offer. Pubs and tea shops abound in the local area to provide refreshments to visitors.
