The Crab and Boar

Set in the heart of Berkshire countryside, The Crab & Boar is a lovely country pub with rooms offering British cuisine, free Wi-Fi and a large car park. The 14 bedrooms feature antique furnishing, luxury throws, Egyptian cotton linen, flat screen TVs, natural Bramley bath and body products and Tea and coffee making facilities. Some rooms have their own private hot tub. Dogs are more than welcome by prior arrangement. The award-winning restaurant serves locally-sourced seafood and seasonal game in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. With an easy access to the M4 motorway, The Crab & Boar is located 25 minute drive away from historic Oxford, 16 minutes from Newbury Racecourse and 19 minutes from Highclere castle. We are proud to have received 2 AA Rosettes for our restaurant and 4 Stars Gold for our accommodation. We are also part of 'Pub group of the year 2016' by The Good Pub Guide.
