With wooden flooring throughout, this stylish property is great for those looking for a discerning self-catering break. Fully fitted kitchen, with fridge /freezer, oven and microwave. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. Combine with traditional Mongolian yurts for larger groups. Large yurts sleep up to 5 guests. Small yurt for 2.

The Granary has a large open plan kitchen/ dining area with lounge Fully equipped kitchen.
There are 4 bedrooms. 1 x king sized / 1 twin room / 1 double areoom and a family room that has 1 x double bed and 2 full sized bunk beds. All rooms have ensuites.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Hundon area?
Suffolk Retreats is just 5 minutes' drive from Clare with its quaint teashops, antique fairs, local pubs, the priory and walks and just 10 minutes from Haverhill with large selection of resturants and cinema complex. Newmarket, famous for its race course, Newmarket nights and museums is around 30 minutes' drive. Cambridge is also approx. 30 minutes away. Try punting on the River Cam, or visit the historic universities and architectural buildings.
The medieval towns of Lavenham and Long Melford, both old wool towns are both well worth a visit too.
Or just stay on site and enjoy the peace and quiet of the tranquil Suffolk countryside.

The is a local traditional pub (The Plough Inn) 10-15 minutes' walk away which serve great food at great prices.

There are also many local pubs, & restaurants just a short drive away in Clare, Haverhill, Lavenham, Cavendish, Newmarket or Bury St. Edmunds.
Other Information
The traditional Mongolian yurts are furnished to a very high standard, and have been awarded 4* under the alternative accommodation accreditation scheme run by the English Tourist Board. Each has its own wood burner for heating and cooking. All beds and bedding is provided. Each has a BBQ.
The Granary guests can add use of hot tub and sauna (optional).
