My wife arranged this as part of my birthday- a one night break in Falmouth to visit family. The current building work which other reviewers mention hardly matters...everything else could not be faulted in any way. The car park was immaculately tidy, the first impressions of the hotel were ‘wow this is nice', the warm reception (the reception staff were fantastic- as good as any we've experienced), the accompanied trip to our room while explaining everything available at the hotel and the cleanliness and appearance of our room. Faultless. We had a nice sea view which we regarded as a bonus, the room was well equipped and, the next morning, the breakfast was lovely. We came back for a snack in the afternoon which, again, was fantastic. We've had one or two stays in Falmouth over the past few years which have been in tired and dated hotels...but this is a complete joy....just go there!!

We stayed here for a night with our dog. We had a wonderful welcome and were shown to our room. The room was very luxurious and we had a balcony. We ate our dinner in a separate room with our dog and we were the only ones there so it was very relaxing. The food was amazing the service was friendly and attentive, especially Sarah on the bar. The next morning we were warmly welcomed by carol who even bought over a sausage for our dog! Although our dog was the only one staying at the time we didn't feel like we were a nuisance and they were very much dog-friendly. Would definitely stay again, thank you.

We stayed at St Michael's resort during a very wet weekend so it could have been a dismal break. But the hotel is excellent, with a comfortable room, attentive staff, and a good-sized swimming pool. Our evening meal at the Brasserie was well above average, (good on fish and seafood, eg mussels, hake, sea bream) and overall we felt well looked after. The hotel is within very easy walking distance of the Harbour and other shops, restaurants etc in Falmouth, and we plan to return, hopefully with better weather.

Gorgeous location, wonderfully tranquil. I love the beach themed decor. Staff are attentive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Huge comfortable bed in a large room with a shared balcony (Beach house room) - with the bonus being that it was a truly disabled-friendly room (fantastic for my wheelchair using mum). This seems to be a rarity in Cornish 4 star hotels! We will definitely return.

The team here do a super job in every respect. The hotel has an excellent location with lovely sea views and easy walking distance into town. Grounds, rooms, pool, spa all immaculate and very well kept. daily menu was very good with enough choice to suit all. We loved our stay, thank you all!
