My Mam and I visited the spa at Seaham Hall and were very impressed. The staff were superb, nothing was too much trouble and they were all very friendly and professional. The facilities were brilliant and everywhere was super clean. We could get clean towels whenever we wanted and there was plenty of fresh water available. There was even nuts, seeds and sultanas in one area with small dishes to put them in. The treatment we had was superb, by far the best massage/facial I have ever had. The meal we had as part of the package was amazing. My Mam is gluten intolerant and they had a separate menu for her. We chose a starter and main course and both were delicious. We have found that at other Spas the meal was small and we had still felt hungry after but not the case here. We were given prawn crackers and a sweet chilli dip while we were waiting for our starter. The portion size of the main course was generous and everything was presented nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our day and would definitely return.

I recently took my mum for Afternoon tea as a belated birthday present. We don't get together very often now but I thought a family holiday in Whitby would be the ideal time to take her up to Seaham to see Tommy and treat her to afternoon tea. Neither Tommy or the restaurant disappointed. Our afternoon tea with champagne (Taitinger) was delightful. The beautiful fresh finger sandwiches melted in the mouth with each flavour complementing one another. The black first cut Darjeeling we picked was divine (I could ((almost)) turn tea total for a taste like that. The 2 scones and cakes were sheer indulgence, beautifully presented and we felt bad being unable to finish them. Service was excellent with very attentive staff from the minute we walked through the door. I hope to return one day soon for a longer stay. Thank you everyone. (The picture is of half of the cakes we couldn't quite finish).

We decided to indulge on a rare child free night out and ate at Seaham Hall, Byron's restaurant and we weren't disappointed. We started our evening with cocktails on the terrace, and it was lovely and peaceful, and the cocktails were fab. We chose the 5 course menu with associated paired wines for each course. The wine waitress paired each wine up perfectly with each course, the food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Staff were knowledgeable, polite and friendly and we are already trying to plan our next visit with perhaps an overnight stay as well. Thank you for a lovely evening.

'We have had a really lovely time - the room was very luxurious and we felt very spoilt! The view of the sea was just wonderful. We found the staff very friendly - always available but not intrusive. The food in the Byron restaurant was delicious and we really enjoyed playing pool (badly!) and the table football. Only issue really is we need to stay longer next time so we have time to make the most of all the facilities! Thanks'
