Overview

Explore the beautiful gardens of Peckover House Peckover House & Garden is a charming 2-acre Victorian garden at the rear of a Georgian house on the North Brink in the middle of Wisbech, described as `The National Trust´s best town garden´. A spacious lawn is shaded by specimen trees including a ginko and tulip tree. The eastern edge of the garden is planted with laurels, hollies, box and yew, forming a wilderness area. There is colourful border planting, cutting flowers, a wonderful collection of roses and other climbers that adorn the old brick walls, while the Orangery contains original fruit-bearing trees over 200 years old. This is a hidden gem in the centre of a fascinating Georgian town.
