Missenden Abbey

Thank you for being our wedding coordinator and making our special day run so smoothly. It really was a perfect day. Over the last 6 months since taking on our wedding you have been so good with answering our seemingly endless questions and calming our nerves about things, we don't think the day would have gone so well without you in the background overseeing it all. We have had a lot of comments from guests about how well the day ran and that there wasn't a single thing that went wrong. Could we also extend our thanks to the catering staff at the abbey and the chef. They were almost unseen but without them the day would have been a total nightmare, and the chef also meant all our guests where very happy with their food even with all the various dietary needs we seemed to have! We could not have asked for a better venue and it was exactly what we wanted.

Every year I photograph about six weddings at this fabulous Buckinghamshire venue, I just love all the amazing wow backdrops at the abbey, for photography options it doesn't get much better! Also, the staff are so lovely and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble. Every time I take a reservation for the abbey, I know I'll be attending the most professionally organised & beautiful wedding. This is one of the few wedding venues where I witness couples dreams & wishes come true time after time, any newlyweds choosing this incredible venue will not be disappointed. And anyone lucky enough to be invited to a wedding at the abbey will no doubt be totally echanted & blown away by this magical place too!

I could not fault Missenden Abbey which was the perfect venue for my daughter's wedding on 31st May 19. I booked the wedding at short notice and was amazed how everything turned out despite the tight timelines. This would not have been such a success without the great attitude of the staff and wedding planners, in particular Natasha who was absolutely fantastic. She catered for our needs responded to our requests and suggested great ideas to ensure the day was faultless. Thank you so much Missenden Abbey and staff for ensuring the wedding guests had a fantastic time. Memories of a lifetime! Thank you so much! If anyone is thinking of Missenden Abbey as their wedding venue, I highly recommend it.

Hi Natasha, I hope all is well. We wanted to send a quick note of thanks to you and the team. Despite the stress the night before and early morning, we both had the most amazing day. Everything looked perfect and exactly how we (Emily), imagined. The day ran really smoothly and the food was also amazing. Several guests had said it was one of the best weddings they'd been to and yourself and the team were an integral part of that. You asked for our florists contact information, so please see below. As you can imagine we spoke to several florists (including the one on your website) and felt most comfortable with Charlotte and we weren't disappointed! Thanks again for all the help and support.

Missenden Abbey was the first and only venue we viewed. After we had our initially viewing/ meeting with Natasha we knew we wanted to get married there! Natasha was amazing…she was always at the end of the phone or email. Our guests even complimented how smoothly everything went on the day & I felt so relaxed. I did not have one stress throughout the day. I would do it all again (and I would have done it the next day if I could). There is not one thing I would change about our wedding day. Missenden Abbey is definitely worth visiting if you are looking for a beautiful day!

We had an absolutely phenomenal wedding day, only made better by the flawless service we received throughout. The day was perfect from start to finish and Natasha and the team ensured that we didn't want for anything. The food was incredible and presented really well. The whole venue is so beautiful and made for some absolutely stunning photos. We couldn't have asked for more for the start of our married life together. I would recommend the Abbey to anyone in a heartbeat!

Missenden Abbey is a wonderful backdrop to any wedding; the Abbey itself is full of character and the most amazing blank canvas due the the simple whitewashed walls, flagstone floors and wood complimented by modern art, sculpture and stained glass windows. And the staff could not have been more helpful ensuring everything ran smoothly; we didn't have to do anything but sit back and enjoy the day. Which was perfect!
