We stayed as a family of two adults couples. Absolutely fantastic, a real home away from home, decorated to an excellent standard. Everything you could possibly need for a week is in the house, in fact the house had everything and a little bit more! The layout of the house is perfect, so spacious and lots of excellent reception areas for the family to be together. We really couldn't find a single fault with this house! The location is perfect for exploring the Borders, we were fishing a nearby beat on the Tweed and were fortunate to catch 2 spring salmon and 17 kelts between us - we put our success down to the relaxing evenings at the house setting us up for the day!

Millsyde still has the wow factor, it is beautifully decorated and so well equipped. It really does have everything you could need and the most comfortable beds. We made the most of all the extras including the eggs that had been left (including chocolate eggs) and the cards and board games. Having level access and all accommodation on one level meant Millsyde has been perfect for my partner in his wheelchair. There was plenty of room to get round the house, in the bedrooms and en-suite which makes life so nice and easy.

An absolutely beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings. The cottage is finished to a very high standard and is faultless. We stayed with two of our grandchildren who absolutely loved the cottage and the gardens which are lovely. It is a great base for exploring the Borders region and a very relaxing place after a hard days walk. The owner was very attentive and the welcome pack she left was excellent (especially the gorgeous rock cakes!), a truly 5* experience all round.

I have stayed ion numerous self-catering properties, but I have never stayed in such a clean welcoming home as Millsyde. Everything was thought about by Sue, from the welcome pack, wine, rock buns, fruit, but also for our wee dog Worster. A truly lovely week in a beautiful part of Scotland. It will be a very hard quest to find a place as good. Thanks Sue, for the attention to detail in making our week so memorable. Taken from Millsyde Visitors book

We have had an amazing stay in your beautiful cottage. The attention to detail is second to none, everything you could possibly need, and more. Many thanks for the thoughtful cakes, milk and wine! Fantastic!! We will definitely recommend to others and very much hope to return. The sunshine was an added bonus :) Taken from Millsyde Visitors book

Another wonderful week with the family at Millsyde. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and at home. Sue's Rock Buns and tea welcome always a treat! Everything was immaculate and we saw deer in the field and hares whilst strolling up the lane. Thanks Sue, we can't wait to return next Easter!!

A truly idyllic country retreat with every possible comfort imaginable! Even the twice daily visits from the Woodpecker reflected peace and contentment. Thank you so much for this very welcome break. Taken from Millsyde Visitors book
