What cuisine is on offer at Masa Restaurant?

Fresh, locally sourced ingredients are on the inventively eclectic menu that might include chicken and tarragon boudin with cos leaves, Parmesan amd pancetta; confit duck spring rolls with nashi pear, sweet mirin glaze, soy and ginger or pan roasted cod with crushed ratte potatoes, spinach, haricot and clam chowder. Leave room for a sweetly indulgent white chocolate and banana bread and butter pudding with salted caramel ice cream.

Family celebration lunch at Masa, previously visited 2 years ago for a christening celebration and both visits an excellent experience. The well furnished lower level and the upper area layout (was an old church) gives a unique experience from the beginning. The 3 course lunchtime menu with at least 4 or more options for each course ensures food that suits everyone and for £24 per head gives fantastic value. The food was well cooked and presentation was beautiful. Food with a 'touch of class' added to the whole experience. We had a 2 year old with us and her menu was also tasty and cooked to perfection. Wine selection was comprehensive and catered for all palates. We will certainly return soon and thoroughly recommend it for a most enjoyable experience.

Fantastic! Have visited a couple of times now with my partner and both times its been great! On top of the courses they offer there's always extras! A few olives etc as u sit in the bar before you eat. Then an amuse bouche which is always very tasty then also a pallet cleanser in between courses. Both times we visited were to celebrate our birthdays and both times we were given a plate at the end with happy birthday written in chocolate and some tasty chocs to celebrate! We've visited a lot of restaurants in the past but this is our favourite! Great value for money and great food! Let's just say we won't be waiting until it's a birthday treat before we visit again

Enjoyed a great 7 course taster evening with my husband and sister. The food was extremely good for £35 per person. Each course offered different favours and textures, and were very well thought out and executed. The clear tomato consomme was so fresh and paired wonderfully with the warm rosemary bread. The stuffed pig trotters was an all round hit at the table as was the rack of lamb with chicken mousse . It was a very enjoyable evening with excellent service and atmosphere. We are looking forward to attending a few more of their taster events which are all themed, in the next few months

This was my third visit to Masa, each of the previous having been excellent, just never got round to reviewing. This time was no exception, service was impeccable, the set and a'la carte menus offering a good choice of mainly local produce. The addition of an amuse bouche and lovely freshly baked bread with flavoured butters as an aperitif was a welcome addition. The food was well presented and all our party found it delicious. An additional personalised serving of chocolates for our occasion was a delightful touch. I'm sure we will be returning soon.

We went to Masa for the first time on Wednesday evening and I have to say what an amazing experience we had! The staff were so attentive, we were greeted on arrival and asked to take a seat, they gave us menus then brought our Wine to the table with some nibbles.. when our food was ready we were escorted up stairs which was lovely then brought us an amuse bouch which was unexpected but very nice! the food was delicious and the overall experience was just brilliant.. we can't wait to go there again .. 2 very happy customers, Thank you

Firstly, this restaurant was absolutely stunning inside, I loved the lay out. Secondly, the food was absolutely amazing. We had fillet of beef for main which just melted in the mouth and we both agreed that the dessert was the best dessert we've ever had. Our waiter was really friendly and helpful and gave us info on their future tasting events which we were really interested in as we can't wait to come back! Fantastic place!

Both my WIFE and myself would like to say a massive thank you to Vicky and the team at Masa for organising and delivering a great day for our wedding! We had a fabulous time and everybody commented on how wonderful the food was. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something a little special for their wedding day then you must visit Masa, try one of their taster events, that's what swung it for us!
