Situated in the best position in Criccieth and facing due south, the Glyn-y-Coed overlooks the Esplanade and offers splendid views of Criccieth Castle, the mountains and beautiful Cardigan Bay.
We have 10 ensuite rooms, decorated to a high standard and offering a variety of bedrooms - some overlooking the sea, castle and mountains. All rooms have a Smart TV, tea making facilites, WiFi and a fully tiled bath or shower room.
Enjoy a hearty, healthy breakfast (with sausage, bacon & black pudding from a local butcher) - Not available with online bookings, due to distancing in breakfast room. Please enquire.
Private parking is available - so leave your car, relax on our patio with a pot of tea or glass of wine or, walk along the Wales Coastal Path, visit the Criccieth Castle, Cadwalader's Ice Cream shop, our beach, cafes, local welsh pubs and several excellent restaurants. Bus & train stops are walking distance too.
Criccieth is very central for seeing places such as Portmeirion, Harlech, Snowdonia, several castles, the Ffestiniog Railway, five golf courses and many hidden, most beautiful and romantic beaches around the Llyn Peninsula. We have a lot of knowledge, books and photos to gladly share with you. Bring your walking shoes and camera - you will not be disappointed.
