Overview

Discover the Breathtaking Views of Exmoor National Park Sitting across 267 square miles in south west Britain, Exmoor National Park engulfs an enormous variety of landscapes, from moorland, woodland and valleys to soaring cliffs overlooking the Bristol Channel and rolling farmland. There is an excellent path network that traverses high moors and pretty wooded valleys for walkers, a winding network of bridleways and lanes perfect for horse-riding and terrific climbing opportunities. Stunning scenery, plenty of wildlife and very clean waters make this one of the least polluted areas of the UK so stargazers are in for a treat (as of 2011 Exmoor National Park is Europe's first International Dark Sky Reserve).
