Overview
Crown Cottage is on three floors and is built with Cotswold stone. The first-floor bedroom has a super king-sized double bed (or twins) with stairs leading up to a fantastic attic bathroom with walk in shower and free standing bathtub. Downstairs is a cosy sitting room complete with log fire, Bose speaker, 52" smart TV and boardgames. A well-appointed kitchen leads to a private terrace area. This is linked outside to 'The Studio', an open plan ground floor room with private access. It has a super king-sized double bed, walk in shower, free standing bath tub, comfortable sofa and TV. Each bedroom is supplied with towels, bathrobes, '100 Acres' toiletries and hairdryers. Crown Cottage kitchen is complete with electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The utility room has a washer dryer, downstairs loo, iron and ironing board.
Crown Cottage is located in the village of Church Enstone down the quiet Mill Lane and adjoining to the popular village pub, the Crown Inn. It is totally charming in the traditional sense yet embraces the comforts of contemporary technology. Vibrant artworks and stunning fabrics add colour to traditional features such as oak timber beams and exposed stonework.
At Crown Cottage you will be greeted with fresh flowers and a basket of essentials. This will include freshly made bread, milk, butter, jams and biscuits. For those not wishing to cook you can book a table for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the pub next door (not including Sunday nights).
Bookings can be made for Mon - Fri (4n), Fri - Mon (3n) or 7 nights Mon-Mon or Fri-Fri or multiples thereof.
This year-round destination provides the ultimate base for Festivals (Cornbury, Wilderness, Feastival) as well as sporting events like Cheltenham Races and Blenheim Horse Trials. 30 mins from Oxford and Stratford, 20 mins from Bicester Village, 15 mins from Blenheim Palace and Woodstock and 10 mins from Soho Farmhouse and Great Tew.
