What makes a stay at Attadale Holiday Cottages unique?

You are welcomed with a liter of semi-skimmed milk, six fresh farm eggs, home-made biscuits and some flowers on the table. Remote position with walks for miles from your front door, two munros on the estate to climb, lochs with brown trout to fish for and views for miles. Guests have free access to Attadale Gardens throughout their stay as often as they wish. Children can play safely and ride their bikes. Dogs welcome too. Miles to walk and climb for enthusiasts. The beach is right there as well. You are only a mile from the Carron Restaurant which offers whisky tasting and excellent food. Others have brought their boats with them to launch at Strome Ferry.

An excellent base for exploring the North West Highlands, and only 3 miles off the North Coast 500. Within easy reach of Applecross with the spectacular Bealach Na Ba pass to drive up and Torridon beyond with Inverewe Gardens to enjoy. Southwards Eilean Donan Castle, an iconic image for tourists world-wide is open year round. The Skye Bridge is only 25 minutes away so the whole island is available to explore on a daily basis. The train from Attadale station is an adventure in itself to take travellers to Plockton to see the seals on Calum's boat or just to enjoy the view.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

You can visit the Carron restaurant within a mile and enjoy an excellent meal. Plockton with several good restaurants is nearby and the Kishorn Seafood Bar & Applecross Inn are also an easy option. John the fisherman comes once a week on Thursday so you can buy fresh seafood, crab and more. The Applecross Smokehouse is within easy driving so go and choose your own. The Strathcarron Brewery sells its wares in the local Lochcarron Food Centre, a wonderful local shop where almost anything you need can be obtained.
