Overview

Be flabbergasted by the sparkling interiors of the one of the most fabulous locations in the capital, known as 'Number 1 London'. This wonderful Georgian structure was the London home of the main Duke of Wellington and has changed very little since his incredible triumph at Waterloo in 1815. Revel in one of the best workmanship assortments in London, with artistic creations by Velazquez and Rubens, just as an awesome assortment of silver and porcelain.

What is there to see and do at Apsley House?

Discover more about the man behind the fantasy. The 'Iron Duke' inhabited Apsley House in the wake of defeating Napoleon, and the house stays a living arrangement of the Dukes of Wellington today.

When of his demise in 1852 the Iron Duke was a national legend, and his home stands as a national hallowed place to the victor of Waterloo.

Away from his military profession, the Duke supposedly had a special way with words and numerous admirers.

Be awed by the palatial miracle of the plated, sparkling insides and shocking fine art of Apsley House.

Appreciate the gifts from rulers, tsars, and kings to the Iron Duke. There are about 3,000 fine artistic creations, figures and masterpieces in silver and porcelain, given to Britain's most noteworthy military saint.
