Wrackleford House is the family home of Oliver and Katie Pope. A stunning Georgian house with a wonderful conservatory for guests to enjoy their breakfast which overlooks the water meadows. There are 4 double bedrooms all ensuite and individually decorated to a high standard. All include tea/coffee making facilities and a television.

Guests are made to feel at home with access to the beautiful walled garden and the River Wrackle running through making it a wonderful spot in the conservatory to enjoy your cooked English breakfast which is always on offer with homemade jams and bread. Fishing on the River Frome is available and you can walk to two of the beats from the house.

Wrackleford House has 4 double bedrooms, all ensuite. A twin room can be made available upon request. The rooms are furnished to the highest standard. Guests will find each room has tea and coffee facilities and a flat screen TV.
What can guests enjoy when staying in the Dorchester area?
Dorchester is only a five minute drive and you can visit the Dorset County Museum, Teddy Bear museum or the Tutankhamun Exhibition. Wonderful beaches including Weymouth, a traditional Victorian seaside, Ringstead Bay, Hive Beach at Burton Bradstock.
Where can guests enjoy food and drink?
Wonderful local pubs, the Saxon Arms in Stratton and The Greyhound at Sydling St Nicholas. The Hive at Burton Bradstock do the best breakfasts and lunches and if you fancy crab go and visit the Crab House Café in Portland. Dorchester offers lots of restuarants including Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian.
Other Information
if you would like to try some dry fly fishing on the River Frome, your hosts can provide all equipment. An Instructor can also be arranged if required. Lunch hampers are also available.
