Expect a warm greeting from the former royal housekeeper and chef Chrissie and her chocolate Labrador Elsa! Historic family home thought to date from late 1700's, situated in the village of Brize Norton on the eastern edge of the Cotswolds, a couple of miles off the A40 between Oxford and Cheltenham. Impressive mature cottage gardens surround the house which inside is decorated generously with antiques and collectables (many available to purchase).
What can guests enjoy when staying in the Brize Norton area?
Situated conveniently for exploring Burford, Stow in the Wold, Bibury and Cirencester. The neighbouring village of Bampton, made famous recently for its starring role in Downton Abbey, is less than 2 miles away. A number of excellent places to eat are within a short drive, as well a village pub within 5 minutes walk of the front door!
Chrissie made us so welcome and her breakfasts were amazing. We would definitely recommend this lovely house for a comfortable stay and hope to be returning the next time we are in the area. Extremely good value, we felt, and we couldn't have been made to feel more at home and relaxed. SuT

We spent a lovely relaxing long-weekend at Chrissie's delightful B&B last autumn. Super comfortable beds, stylishly decorated throughout, and a really great shower. The location was ideal for us being close to family and within easy access of the M40. JoyceT
