Lovely people, lovely place. We arrived in late afternoon, we had not booked, Terry and Shirley had one room left and welcomed us warmly, showing us the room, offering a cafetiere of real, strong coffee (we accepted!)and generally making us feel at home. Our room was large and - joy oh joy! - had a superking bed! An interesting quirk in this room was the slipper bath adjacent to the ensuite bathroom with its walk-in shower. We went out early evening to eat and then made ourselves extremely comfortable in the cosy residents sitting area (sofas and a log-burning stove) with a bottle of wine (glasses and corkscrew provided) and relaxed. We were very well looked after at breakfast time too, with excellent bacon and eggs. Brilliant hosts. We shall return.

Terry and Shirley could not have offered us more for our short holiday in beautiful Ullapool. In their artistic and homely B and B they welcomed and looked after us throughout our stay. Our room was fabulous, furnished with much style and every comfort. Our breakfasts were delicious, served in their creative and colourful dining room. And their thoughtful tips for places to visit numerous and very much appreciated. We could not recommend a nicer place to stay in an area so incredibly relaxing and magnificent it was hard to leave. We will be back!

There are so many exceptionally good things to say about the Westlea House! I stayed here for the first time for only one night. (I wish I had been able to stay for a week.) The place is simply beautiful, and the hosts are warm and welcoming. The care, attention to detail, and warmth that the Roses have put into the property can only be described as love. I give the Westlea House my very highest recommendation, I commend Terry and Shirley on their exceptional work, and I look forward to returning someday.

This is the best B&B I've ever stayed in. Really welcoming pleace with a cosy living area to chill out in.The twin room was so clean, the decor modern, bed comfy, and the shower was excellent. terry and his wife are lovely and made us feel at home. The cooked breakfast was worth the visit alone and (real) coffee a delight. When I pass through Ullapool again I will stay here without a doubt.

The best accommodation I have stayed in in Scotland, ever. Fantastic hosts, cozy, warm welcome and beautiful decor in a B&B that felt like an extension of home. Great food, very accommodating owners who were super helpful as we had a small baby with us. All in all, a brilliant experience in a lovely town and one that we will treasure.
