The Viewmount is surrounded by nearly an acre of its own landscaped grounds set in the Cairngorms National Park and with views of the Grampian Mountains. The Viewmount is a 'home away from home' where guests' every need is catered for - no request is too big or too small. Guests are warmly greeted on arrival and offered refreshments before being shown to their rooms. Guests are invited to convene in the lounge every evening at 18:30 for a complimentary drink and nibbles and they have the option to order more from the extensive top shelf drinks menu. Card facilities are available to settle any extras. If guests have pre-booked dinner, this will be served in the library. The wine room is well-stocked and the "wow-factor" appeals to all guests. The library, with its bespoke shelves and Victorian sliding ladder is another reception room available to guests 24/7.
The Viewmount's breakfast menu has been set by a Kingussie local and caters for every dietary requirement.

There are 4 newly refurbished & redecorated super king-size bedrooms (with the option of twin beds in the accessible downstairs room), each with a spacious and luxuriously furnished ensuite bathrooms.
The rooms and ensuites are spacious and luxurious. It offers Egyptian cotton linen, fluffy towels, monogrammed bathrobes, slippers and toiletries. Enjoy a dram of Dalwhinnie whisky from the complimentary hospitality tray.

Can you suggest any activities or things to do while staying in the Kingussie area?
The Viewmount is situated off the main Kingussie High street in an elevated position on East Terrace, giving ample peace and quiet to relax and enjoy the spectacular views, yet only a few minutes away from the local shops and activities. Your hosts can assist you in organising an exciting day of excursions, whether it be a round of golf, a trip to a nearby distillery, or a tour to the renowned Cairngorms in the Scottish Highlands. Or, you might like to stay home and unwind in a cosy armchair in one of the welcoming reception rooms.
Where can guests enjoy food and drink?
Breakfast is complimentary and served in the library. Choose as many (or few) items from the extensive menu by 10pm the night before. Relax in the library or lounge (with Dimplex electric fireplace and deep leather Chesterfield chairs ) and admire the wine-room (where the discerning pallets can enjoy a wide selection of Wines, Gins & Scottish whiskies from the extensive wine list).
A stay can also be combined with Afternoon Tea, provided it is booked in advance. Costs start from £30 pp including a glass of Prosecco,
