Overview

The Old Rectory is situated in a romantic and quiet setting, perfectly positioned for enjoying the best that Cornwall has to offer. The House is set in the middle of a lush, mature 3-acre garden you will find The Old Rectory, along with plenty of wildlife areas, freshly cut flowers and their own organic produce that is used in your breakfast and evening meals. There are four luxurious, traditionally furnished en-suite rooms, a comfortable guest lounge with log fire and a Victorian conservatory for dining.

What makes a stay at The Old Rectory unique?

The original Victorian features that make this house so special, including the sash windows, fireplaces, picture rails and elegant staircases have been carefully preserved. The dilapidated Veranda and conservatory that were part of the original building have also been replaced.

What are the rooms and facilities on offer at The Old Rectory?

There are four high-quality en-suite bedrooms at The Old Rectory, which have names based on the history of the house. The Old Rectory is a dog-friendly bed and breakfast, and can hold 2 excellently-behaved dogs, but not cats, in the Old Stable room.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Boscastle area?

Only 2 miles from the picturesque village of Boscastle on the rocky north coast of Cornwall and within an hours drive of Exeter. The Old Rectory is the perfect base to visit Cornwall's Eden Project, Lanhydrock Estate, unspoilt beaches, Bodmin Moor and many other Cornish treasures.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

Even if you stayed at The Old Rectory for a week, you could try a different cooked breakfast every single morning. Guests can choose from a variety of places to eat just a short drive from the house. A further benefit is walking down to Boscastle across the lovely Valence valley to eat  and either walk back or get the local taxi.
