Amazing experience We stayed at The Old Rectory for the 2nd time and yet again the experience was amazing and this review highlights the lengths that Andy & Izzy go to make sure that you are looked after. We arrived just as the severe snow came and effectively got snowed in because we don't have a 4x4 vehicle. We moved our car into the pub car park at the top of the lane because there is a long hill between the pub and The Old Rectory. But this made the stay all the better because we woke up the next morning to even more snow and spent time exploring the hamlet on foot in the snow and even took their dogs out with us. Izzy made sure that we had a lovely meal which we consumed in the sitting room in front of the open fire with a bottle of wine. When it came to leave we had to get up to the top of the lane so Izzy and her son drove us back to it and assisted in 'digging us out'. So we departed with a wave and expectation to return again.
