Stobgreen House

Located close to Yorkshire Dales National Park and just outside the North Pennies Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Stobgreen House is a B&B full of charm and charecter. The house nestles into the hilside in a quiet location on the outskirts of Eggleston Village. There are two comfortable guest rooms both with ensuite wet rooms, king size beds and private access to the gardens and beyond. Breakfast is cooked to order and served in the snug, at a large breafast table. There is plenty to explore and discover in this less well known part of Northern England. Everywhere you go there are big skys and stunning scenery, with an abundance of wild birds and flowering grass meadows to be seen. Close by is the local market town of Barnard Castle, with its live stock market, cobbled market place and thriving local shops it is quintessentialy English. There is also the internationally renowned Bowes Museum to visit. You don't have to wonder why so many visitors come back time and again!
