Umberleigh is a small village in North Devon with a three arched bridge over the River Taw. By the river there are some lovely walks to Barnstaple which is 6 miles away. Umberleigh is on the picturesque railway line from Barnstaple to Exeter, known as the Tarka Line made famous the book Tarka the Otter.
