Tadcaster

The Yorkshire town of Tadcaster lies on the River Wharfe between York and Leeds and is famous for its three breweries which produce many gallons of beer each year. The town has several old buildings, one of which is The Ark built in the 15th Century and how used as the council offices Near the town is an imposing viaduct with eleven arches,which today is no longer in use but was preserved for the local people to enjoy walks over.
