Bed & Breakfast in or near Mistley

Mistley in Essex is a large village next to Manningtree. It lies on the banks of the River Stour estuary an area that inspired the artist John Constable. The town has a pair of church towers which were part of a church left unfinnished in the 1770's. There is a secret bunker near the town built in the 1950's used as a control room during the cold war and was once opened to the public but is now closed.
