Places to visit in or near Lymm

The large village of Lymm in Cheshire has many historic buildings at it centre. The Bridgewater Canal passes through the centre of Lymm and to the north the Manchester Ship Canal. The vlllage has a number of restaurants and pubs. In the centre is a distinctive landmark called The Cross based on ancient steps carved in red stone which may date back to the 14th century.
