Hayle is a very popular holiday location in Cornwall. It has 3 miles of sand and sand dunes and the beach is ideal for swimming, sunbathing,surfing and wind surfing. At the mouth of Hayle estuary is an area well known for bird watching. The town has a small harbour with a few fishing boats. There are a number of visitor attractions for all the family, including Paradise Park which is a theme park with a large collection of birds and a breeding centre for rare species.
