Places to visit in or near Dalton-in-Furness

Dalton-in-Furness is an ancient town which lies in a narrow valley extending into Morecambe Bay. An array of historic buildings to explore including Dalton Castle, Furness Abbey and the church of St Mary to name but a few. South Lakes Wild Animal Park is about a mile from the town and is one of Europe's leading conservation zoos.
