Bed & Breakfast in or near Bolton Abbey

Bolton Abbey in North Yorkshire is a large estate of some 30,000 acres. The 12th century Augustinian Bolton Priory is located here which is a popular tourist spot. The surrounding area is open to the public with some spectacular scenery and dozens of walks. The River Wharfe flows through the area known as The Strid, which is a narrow gorge less than 2 metres across is some places.
